REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Do I need to have a full team to sign up for a league?
No, we welcome all individual free agents, small groups of friends or teams to register for any PSN league. Since registration is first come, first served, all registrants are guaranteed a spot in a league as long as availability remains.

How do I register as an individual for a sports league?
Registering is super easy and we welcome all individual free agents to sign up for any PSN league. Simply click on Sports Leagues and select the league of your choice. Next, select that you are registrating as an Individual on the drop down menu and complete the form. Please have your credit card ready when submitting your form.

Do individuals need to fill out a teammate waiver?
Individual registrants do not need to fill out the teammate waiver.

How are individual registrants placed on a team?
Since registration is first come, first served, all individuals are guaranteed a spot in a league as long as availability remains. Individual registrants are placed on a team with other free agents or groups that need additional players to fill their team roster. We always have plenty of teams that need free agents. In fact, over 25% of our leagues are actually free agents. If you find any other players that you would like to have on your team, simply tell them to put your name on their registration form’s teammate request section and we will place you on the same team- as long as you and your friend register before the league fills up! If you register after a league fills up, we will issue you a full refund immediately.

How do I register a small group of friends to be on the same team?
To sign up as a small group, please have all players register individually and we will add other free agents to your team in order to meet the minimum roster requirements. From there, it is easy to get on the same team with your friends. When each of you registers individually, you will be asked if you have any teammate requests. Simply have everyone indicate a designated player from your small group on their form. This way we will know to place everyone on the same team as long as you and your friends register before the league fills up.

How do I register a team for a sports league?
Registering is super easy and we welcome all teams to sign up for any PSN league. When registering as a full team, each player will automatically receive the discounted team rate. Simply click on Sports Leagues and select the league of your choice. Next, select that you are registrating as a team and choose how many players will be on your team on the drop down menus. Following this you will be required to specify the shirt sizes for all of your teammates. Please have your credit card ready when submitting your form and inform all of your teammates to submit the required Teammate Waiver prior to the registration deadline. All late waivers will result in a late fee.

How does a team add more players than the registration form allows?
The registration forms are set for the recommended number of players for each roster. If a team would like to have more players, please email us and we will help accommodate your request.

How do I join a team or group that has already registered prior the registration deadline?
It is easy to join a team or group that has already registered. Simply register online as an individual and be sure to indicate at least one player’s name from the registered group or team captain on the teammate request section of your form. That way we can make sure to place you on their team (subject to availability).

How do I join a team that has already registered after the registration deadline?
To join a team after the deadline, please have the registered team captain contact us confirming that they would like to add you to their team. Next, please submit the Teammate Waiver Form along with the $15 late registration fee. We will then send you a payment request for the required registration fees via PayPal. Once we receive the payments and waiver, you will be eligible for the league. To purchase your required team shirt, and have it delivered, please have players complete the following form: https://philadelphiasportsnetwork.wufoo.com/forms/shirt-order-form/. Do not take a shirt at your first game as it will be mailed to your address within 1-2 weeks.

How do I change a player on my team?
Please have your new player fill out the Player Change Form if they are replacing another player that is currently registered for a PSN League. This form must be submitted along with the required $15 Player Change Fee prior to participating in the league. Any unauthorized players that participate in the league will result in team forfeits and suspensions. Please note that after this form is verified by PSN, the replaced player will no longer be eligible to play in the league.

How many players are we required to sign up when registering as a team?
In order to register a full team, you must sign up the required minimum number of players. Please visit each sports webpage for the required number of players. If you would like to register a team with less than the required minimum, please contact us via email to obtain permission. Please note that your team will still be responsible for the minimum required registration fees.

Does the team captain have to pay for everyone or can we pay individually if we are on a team?
You have two options when registering a team. The first is to register using the Team Registration Form. When signing up together as a team, you will be required to submit the fees for the whole team. However, because this makes less administrative work for PSN, each player will receive the discounted team rate. You also are guaranteed to have only your teammates on your team.

The other option is to have everyone register individually. When each of you fills out the form, you will be asked if you have any teammate requests. Please have everyone provide the name of your designated captain and we will place you on the same team - as long as you and your friends register before the league fills up! This option will require everyone to pay the individual rate and puts players that wait too long to register themselves at risk of not getting on your team.

Please know that we expect all spots to fill before the deadline so we recommend registering quickly to help ensure your spot in the league! Both the registration forms and fees are required to reserve spots in the league.

How do I find out if my teammates have submitted their required Teammate Waivers?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the status of your teammates completing the required Teammate Waiver because our system does not process the forms until after the registration deadline. This is why it is very important that the captains notify and remind each teammate as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary late fees. Please note that the Teammate Waiver has a field to indicate the name and email of the player that paid for their team. This is how we are able to link each player to the correct team.

You will receive an email one week prior to the league start date with all league details including team rosters, emails and the league schedule. If any players have not submitted the form, there will be a blank spot where their name should be indicating that a player(s) are ineligible and will need to submit the Teammate Waiver and late fee to be eligible for the league.

Can I register now for the current season?
Yes. Anyone can register anytime after the advertised registration start date and prior to the registration deadline date.

Can I register now for a future season?
No. If this season’s sports league of your choice is filled before you complete registration, or you’re not able to play for other reasons and are interested in registering for the following or some future season, make sure to sign up to be added to our contact list on the PSN homepage and to become our fan on Facebook. By doing this you will receive updates regarding openings that may become available in current leagues and announcements regarding the start dates for future registration periods.

If I register prior to the registration deadline, am I guaranteed a spot in a league?
All league registration is first come, first served. Therefore, we cannot guarantee or hold any spots prior to your completing the online registration form and submitting payment. We encourage all players to register as early as possible since each league has a limited amount of availability. We will issue a full refund plus all processing fees if you register for a league that has already filled up.

How When are team rosters and schedules posted?
We post all team rosters and schedules on the website one week prior to the league’s start date.

Once registered, when will I receive information on the new season?
You will receive an email one week prior to the league start date with all league details including team rosters, emails and the league schedule.

When will the next season’s schedules be posted?
Please visit our upcoming sports leagues page. We are still finalizing the details.

How can I order an additional or replacement shirt?
To purchase your required team shirt, and have it delivered, please have players complete the following form: https://philadelphiasportsnetwork.wufoo.com/forms/shirt-order-form/. Do not take a shirt at your first game as it will be mailed to your address within 1-2 weeks.

How do the shirt sizes run?
The shirts are 50/50 (cotton/polyester) and run closer to men’s sizes.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Can I pay with cash or a personal check?
No. All payments must be made through PayPal when submitting your registration form online. If you prefer not to pay with a credit card, you have the option to pay using your checking account via PayPal. You will need to open a free PayPal account to do this. Please note, that any checks received by mail will be voided.

What is your refund policy?
Players that need to cancel their league membership can do so by finding a replacement. We will issue a pro-rated refund (based on when you cancel during the season) minus a $15 administrative fee. The replacement player is responsible for submitting a Player Change Form and pro-rated league fees prior to participating and prior to our issuing the refund to the original player. We are also happy to help find a replacement since we usually have people on a waiting list.

I registered as an individual, but did not pay. Is my registration complete?
No. You submitted a registration form, however, you did not submit the required registration fees. Both online payment and registration forms are required to complete league registration. Please resubmit the individual registration form along with the payment at checkout to complete your registration. Your initial registration form will be deleted. We recommend signing up as soon as possible because the leagues fill up quick.

I registered my team, but did not pay. Is my team registered for the league?
No. You submitted a registration form, however, you did not submit the required registration fees. Both online payment and registration forms are required to complete league registration. Please resubmit the team registration form along with the payment at checkout to complete your registration. Your initial registration form will be deleted. We recommend signing up as soon as possible because the leagues fill up quick.

DISCOUNT INFORMATION:

What is the multi-player discount and how is it redeemed?
When registering as a full team, each player will automatically receive the discounted team rate. Multi-Player discounts will be applied upon checkout.

What is the multi-league discount and how is it redeemed?
Receive $5 off each additional PSN League that you register for! To be eligible, you must fill our Multi-League Form prior to the registration deadline and after you have submitted all registration fees online for the multiple leagues. The refund will be issued to the original credit card or PayPal account used.

How do I redeem the Championship Discount?
All league winners will receive an email with a link to the league winner discount form. This form must be submitted prior to the subsequent season’s registration deadline.

How can my office qualify for the Corporate Discount?
The ‘Work Hard, Play Harder Corporate Discount’ is open to all businesses including non-profits that register a full team. To qualify for the discount, more than half of your roster must work for the same company and be able to verify with company email addresses prior to the registration deadline. Each of the co-workers will receive an additional $5 off their league fees in addition to the $10 team discount.

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

Where do the leagues take place?
Our leagues are held in convenient locations throughout Center City. All locations with maps are listed on our website.

What are the average ages for PSN’s league members?
We welcome all participants that are 18 years of age or older. Most of the participants are in their twenties and thirties, with some in their forties and fifties. We hope to establish a few over 40 leagues in the future.

What is the skill level in PSN’s sports leagues?
PSN’s leagues range from recreational to intermediate to more competitive depending on the sport. For example, the kickball and dodgeball leagues are more social/recreational, while the other leagues are more competitive. Skill levels for the more competitive leagues are generally what you would expect from people who have played in high-school and/or have kept up with the sport as an adult. Most participants are in their 20’s and 30’s and are working professionals. Athletic and fit people in their 40’s or at the beginner level of a sport should not be discouraged from registering. Many members fall into this category and have a great experience in PSN leagues.

When does the next season start?
We have four seasons per year. The winter season usually goes from January-March, the spring season from April to June, the summer season from July-September and the fall season from October-December. The registration deadline for each season is typically 2-3 weeks prior to the leagues starting.

Do PSN’s leagues have referees?
Yes. PSN provides all leagues with paid referees. Most leagues have two referees, such as basketball, flag football, outdoor soccer and dodgeball.

How do I become a PSN referee?
We are always looking to hire referees for our leagues. If you are interested, please fill out our employment form.

What are the benefits to being a PSN member?
In addition to all league games, a championship game, league shirts, paid referees, league equipment, we provide all PSN participants with the following member benefits: 1 free drink after every game at the local sponsor bar, discounts with PSN partners through our PSN PASS PROGRAM.

How do the championship games work in PSN’s leagues?
All PSN sports leagues either have a single championship game or a playoff that lasts up to 3 weeks. The winning team of each league receives prizes.

How are championship/playoff games determined?
1. Overall Winning Percentage (sort by highest percentage including all forfeit wins/loses)

2. Head-to-Head (if teams with the same winning percentage played each other during the regular season, the results of those games will be the determining factor. In the case of a 3-way tie or more, all teams are required to have played each other to use Head-to-Head as a determining factor.)

3. Forfeit Count (if ranking multiple teams with the same winning percentage is inconclusive after sorting per head-to-head matchup results, sort by least number of forfeits)

4. Game Win Count (for match style sports only, such as dodgeball and volleyball. Total # of individual games won.

5. Point Differential (if all teams have an equal number of or no forfeits, sort by total # of points/goals scored minus total points/goals allowed - with a 5 point differential cap per game for indoor/outdoor soccer/hockey, 10 runs for kickball/softball, 5 touchdowns for football, 15 points for basketball)

6. Registration Date (as a last resort, sort by earliest team registration date - free agent teams will be determined by an average).
